Art Without Limits creates intensive one-on-one mentorships for aspiring Santa Barbara County
artists by pairing them with professional artists and business experts to help them succeed
in their chosen art form. We encourage emerging arts organizations by acting as their fiscal
sponsor until they acquire their own not-for-profit certification.
The Robert and Mercedes Eichholz Foundation was established in 2011 to support the arts. The Foundation’s mission is to actively support arts in all its forms as well as arts education — inspiring an appreciation of the arts as fundamental to, even transformative of, our daily lives.

Theatre Arts at SBCC
The Theatre Arts Department at Santa Barbara City College offers a variety of programs of study and experience suited to the needs of the serious theatre student, as well as those students who wish to include theatre arts as part of their liberal arts education. With curricula in Acting/Directing, Design/Lighting, Costuming and Technical Production, the program provides an intensive two-year course of study that prepares Theatre Arts majors for transfer to a four-year college or university—ready to do advanced, upper division work.
Visual Arts & Design Academy is a small learning community at Santa Barbara High School with about 175 students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. VADA is a unique “school-within-a-school” that integrates college, advanced placement, honors and college preparatory level coursework with project-based, career-focused art and design instruction in a supportive and creative environment
